Remember Uri Geller, the spoon bending “psychic”? Geller made his fortune in the 1970s bending spoons and stopping watches on television sets all over the world. It was a simple magic trick, but many people fell for his claims of “bending spoons with his mind”. Our own resident spoon bender Richard Saunders has been often heard to say, if you are bending spoons with your mind then you are doing it the hard way – just use your hands!
Geller recently appeared on a UK show where he had the mickey taken out of him in a rather big way. And he is not amused. This clip also features Tim Minchin, a good friend of the skeptical movement. Enjoy!
