Sydney dinner: From vampire moths to killer mozzies

Coming very soon – our next Sydney dinner. And we know you’re itching to attend …

Dr Cameron Webb, Medical Entomologist from the University of Sydney and Westmead Hospital, will give a fun, fascinating and itch-inducing presentation on everything you want to know (and quite a lot you don’t) about insects that want to drink your blood, their mysterious lifestyles and, most importantly, the best — and the worst — ways to beat their bites!

Learn about killer mozzies. Learn about blood-sucking bats that want to drink your tears. And discuss whether we really need to get rid of all of our kangaroos and birds.

‘Dr Mozzie’ will be the one to answer all of your questions (and yes, we will be having dinner before the presentation).

Date: Saturday, May 24, 2014 (RSVPs by Wednesday, May 21).
Location: Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club, West Ryde
Time: 6:30 for 7:00 seated.
Fee: $50, includes an extensive buffet dinner.

And one lucky attendee will win the door prize of their fee refunded — dinner and a show for free!
