AC Grayling – philosopher, humanist, atheist, author, academic, college founder, and ‘man of the left’ – is touring Australia in August and September 2016.
He will finish his tour with a special Sydney appearance for the Humanist movement, presented under the auspices of the Humanist Society of NSW and the Council of Australian Humanist Societies.
Professor Grayling will deliver an after-dinner address on “The Philosophy of Humanism and its Roots” at the Fairmont Room, The Occidental Hotel, Sydney, on September 5.
The event is from 6.00-9.00pm, with dinner from 6:30. Dr Grayling will arrive at 7.30pm for a 40-minute talk. There will be an additional twenty minutes for questions.
Tickets are $49pp (dinner and talk) and numbers are very limited – an intimate venue with just eighty people present. Dr Grayling will depart at 8:30, but further presentations and conversations will continue afterwards.
Book via Eventbrite.
