February 12 is the birthday of Charles Darwin, and there will be many celebrations.

Melbourne - Vic Skeptics are collaborating in 2007 with the Humanists and other organisations to mark the occasion. We plan a public Barbecue on Yarra Bank near the Botanic Gardens entrance that evening from 5.30. (Closest intersection is Anderson Street and Alexandra Avenue.) More details will be forthcoming as available, but it is a fairly safe bet to say BYO everything.
