Dr. Ken Harvey will speak. Dr Harvey is Adjunct Senior Lecturer in the School of Public Health, La Trobe University. His topic is
“Balancing Commerce, Choice and Consumer Protection: Reforming Complementary Medicine Regulation”.
Dr Harvey will comment about encouraging new developments concerning the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and its overview of alternative medicine.
Skeptics Café happens on the third monday of every month. The venue for the forseeable future is La Notte Restaurant, 140 Lygon Street Carlton. Dr Harvey will speak from 8pm, or join us for a meal from 6pm.
