The Sydney Skeptics dinners are making a welcome return with a bang on February 29, featuring a high profile speaker on the issue of the century.
Dr Michael Mann is an American climatologist and geophysicist, currently director of the Earth System Science Center at Pennsylvania State University, who has contributed to the scientific understanding of historic climate change based on the temperature record of the past thousand years.
And he is also a leading (and in some circles controversial) campaigner on behalf of climate change action.
Following his recent media appearances across Australia – including Q&A and 60 Minutes – he will address a special Skeptics dinner in Sydney on the issues involved in climate change – the evidence, the claims, and the cutting edge of climate policy.
