Skepticon 2023 is the premier convention for critical thinking, skepticism, and science communication in Australia. At this event, rational thinkers, scientists, and experts gather to explore issues facing skepticism in society today. With the aim of equipping attendees with the tools needed to think critically and evaluate evidence, Skepticon 2023 offers a unique opportunity to engage with like-minded individuals who share a commitment to rational inquiry and the fight against pseudoscience.
Skepticon will be held on the weekend of December 2-3 at the Ian Potter auditorium, in the Kenneth Myer building, University of Melbourne, Parkville. Tickets cover one and two-day bookings, full price and concession, as well as a gala dinner on the Saturday night. Tickets for online viewing are also available.
The speaker line-up for Skepticon is an impressive offering – both the speakers themselves and the topics. International guests include psychic buster Susan Gerbic and science and critical thinking communicator Melanie Trecek-King. The full line-up is available on the Skepticon website.
