Tickets are now available for Skepticon 2025, the 41st Australian Skeptics Annual National Convention.
This is the twelfth Skeptics convention to be held in Melbourne.
The event will be held at the Forum Theatre, University of Melbourne, over the weekend of 4-5 October. The venue is a few steps from the new Parkville underground train station.
There will also be a Friday night meet-and-greet on the evening of October 3, and a gala dinner on the evening of Saturday, October 4.
The speakers’ list is steadily growing, with the current line-up including science education and communicators Melanie Trecek-King and Dave “Prof Dave Explains” Farina. Both will be appearing virtually from the US.
Skepticon will be a festival exploring science, reason, critical thinking and skeptical conviviality, with speakers covering skeptical perspectives on medicine, science, education, belief, and consumer issues.
The event is guaranteed to be informative, incisive, challenging, and lots of fun, with the opportunity to renew old friendships and make new ones.
